Why we built it
How practice review works today
Students record practice and send the videos by text or email. Coaches scrub through each video to find the swings worth talking about, type the same corrections for different students, and keep track of who practiced in their head.
Kinema replaces that thread. It turns the coach's spoken comments into a written message for the student, and keeps every student's practice, notes and questions in one place.
Setup and alerts
A check that the camera is placed correctly before recording, and notifications when a student sends practice or a coach replies.
Other sports
Sports where a coach reviews repeated movements, such as golf and baseball, once tennis works well.
